She doesn’t think pornography is speech but that’s a matter of opinion and while she’s entitled to hers, she’s not entitled to use government power to enforce a ban on it.
Her attitude towards porn is the same as a lefties attitude towards her beliefs as a conservative. And last I checked, she took issue with the leftoid tendency to ban, suppress, and censor things they don’t like.
She points out how pornography can be and has been weaponized… uses that as the justification for why it is harmful, and why it should be banned… and somehow fails to realize you could point out the same thing about a hammer. Or a gun.
Sure, you can misuse it and abuse other people’s rights with it, but just cuz you can and some people do, doesn’t mean it should be banned.
Otherwise I guess we better get started on the car ban, and the hammer ban, and the screwdriver ban, and the kitchen knife ban.
The holes in her logic are essentially the same as the holes in the logic of leftoids who argue for more gun control and fewer guns.
And it’s the same as the holes in the logic of supposedly freedom loving Americans who insist weed should stay illegal, knowing full well neither the federal or state governments have the authority to prohibit us from buying, selling, producing or consuming it. Same as booze.
