Republicans Don’t Have An ACTUAL Majority In The House Of Reps

This has been shown again and again in votes on endless spending for Ukraine and Israel, in passing Biden’s “infrastructure” pork bill, in re-upping FISA, in refusing to release J6 footage, and so much else already…

So the four defectors who fucked up the inherent contempt vote forced by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna are just confirming what we already know, rubbing our faces in it.

But, let me explain something to you, something I hope somehow makes its way to reps: there are 30 seats up for re-elect in the Senate this cycle, and 20 of them are held by Democrats.

Many of those Democrats are vulnerable, and are becoming more so by the day with Beijing Biden as their standard bearer and Harris as the likely successor.

And to those arguing we need to vote Republican down ticket to protect Trump from impeachment: wrong.

If we focus on getting as many seats in the Senate as possible, and so long as we get just a few of those, we have a firewall against impeachment.

Should the Democrats retake the House because of low enthusiasm from GOP voters for down-ballot candidates, they can file all the articles of impeachment they feel like; won’t do them any good.

When we had House and Senate in the first 2 years of Trump’s 1st term, they did almost nothing except try to sabotage the president they were supposed to be working with and drag their feet on everything he spearheaded. What got done, got done cuz of him, in spite of them.

In 2022 Republicans asked people to vote for them, but have done nothing whatsoever of substance to follow through on the promises they made to their voters while campaigning.

Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro got prison, Merrick Garland didn’t.

They indisputably have the power to remedy that and have just told us they won’t. The idiots in congress seem to think nothing has changed.

One little thing has changed though.

Yes, they continue to do nothing.

But now they’re beginning to pay a price for it. Don’t think so…?

Go ask Kevin McCarthy. He still calling shots, or throwing fits from the sidelines cuz we kicked his ass off the field? Liz Cheney… what’s she up to lately? How about Paul Ryan or Ronna McDaniel? Jeb Bush?

The difference now is: a lot of we the people recognize these Reps have no leverage over us, and we have plenty over them. We’ve begun to punish them when they refuse to act for us, and when they act against us.

Case in point: we need Trump in the White House, we need the Senate to protect him against impeachment, but for the first two years of his second term, we frankly don’t need the house. Would it be nice?

Sure. But a fake majority isn’t a majority, we don’t have one now, and if we “keep” the House by voting for sellouts just because they have an “R” next to their name, we still won’t have a functional majority in 2024.

I’d rather we own that now, deal with it, and campaign against Dems in 2026 to gain a real majority.

My two cents anyways.

I’ve absolutely fucking had it with this string-along crap we get from congress. If they don’t want to do what their voters want them to do, they shouldn’t be there.
