I’ve been saying…
Even if it means losing the House until 2026, it’s worth it, most of what needs done most urgently can be done through the executive branch, without much help from the legislature – what’s more, if we have the Senate, we have a firewall against Democrat efforts to impeach.
There are 30 Senate seats up for grabs this election cycle, and 20 of them belong to Democrats.
With the Joe Biden presidency, the newly established Harris campaign, the last 4 years of economic crisis and open borders, and the recent assassination attempt on Trump… really think they’re not vulnerable?
If they aren’t now, they never will be and there’s no point opposing them or trying to take back any of the seats they’ve sunk their claws into; we should just quit now and let Democrats have their way.
That’s defeatist BS though.
We can take the Senate.
And we can risk the House.
What we cannot and should not do, is continue to allow neocons to undermine and undercut our agenda, aspirations, and aims from within our own party.
And we cannot allow them to keep misrepresenting us, their voters, to the rest of the general public; our opposition rightly interprets it as permission to walk all over us and normies see it as proof positive that we’re just as bad cuz as far as they can tell, we’re letting it happen.
That needs to stop.
It’s too high a price to pay for a fake, non-functional, traitorous “majority”.
Republicans who aren’t responsive to their constituents need to go.
