Were Israeli Citizens Fired Upon By Their OWN Government On October 7th?

Poperoni News, July 29th

I’d just say… ask yourselves:

Why would someone even come up with a doctrine like that…? What horrors do Israeli’s face if captured, that would make this seemingly barbaric policy an appealing alternative to being held hostage?

What do Palestinians DO to Jews who are captured alive, that would make Jews think killing their own is more desirable? People find out about this policy and fixate on how terrible IT is, without considering the terrors (perpetrated against Israeli’s) which have inspired it. Sure, it’s terrible.

So is what happens to a Jew, if captured alive. Question is, would you rather be tortured and raped to death, or would you rather not?

Disgusting as it is, that is often the question Israelis face, the one this Hannibal doctrine arose to answer.

They’d rather die.

Maybe you’re the type who thinks it’s better to take your chances, maybe you still think this extreme policy is horrifying, but don’t pretend Israelis came up with it in a vacuum for no reason, or to have higher body counts to blame their enemies for.

Rest assured, Hamas and others keep those numbers plenty high enough all on their own, and I don’t think it’s plausible the Israeli gov feels any need whatsoever to inflate it to justify taking action against them.

Israel retaliates, regardless.

So in a massacre of hundreds or thousands, what would Israel have to gain by bumping that number by a few dozen or 100 or even thousand?

What exactly could they justify with a marginally inflated number, that they can’t justify without it?

Probably nothing.

Think about it.

No dog in this fight.

Just saying.
