  2. I’ve always had a problem with Big Pharma. Why does a company spend a billion dollars on advertising a product that you as an individual need to go to a doctor to ASK them for. You can’t march into your pharmacy and demand Ozempic…so why bother advertising to us about it?

    Answer: Because the drug companies figured out, they can paint a rosy picture of how great a life you’d have if you took their drug, knowing that you will go to your doctor and demand it. And if your doctor refuses and doesn’t agree that you need it (because they did after all, go to med school, and you probably didn’t), you’ll find a doctor that will. The FCC should ban ALL prescription medications from being advertised to the public. Advertise them to the physicians as you should!
